Sarah Gilchrist, O.T., C.H.T.
Sarah Gilchrist is a certified hand therapist and an occupational therapist at OrthoAlabama Spine & Sports. A native of Tallassee, Alabama, Sarah went to The University of Alabama where she graduated with a degree in human development and family studies and psychology. She earned her occupational therapy degree at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, graduating in 2011.
Sarah specializes in upper extremity rehabilitation of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. She is proficient in custom splinting for upper extremity fractures as well as conducting postoperative management of varying upper extremity diagnoses. She is also dry needle–certified.
Sarah and her husband, Tim, enjoy spending time with their families, being outdoors, and time at the lake.
